Wailoa Center announced a tie for the People’s Choice Award for the Collaborations 2 exhibit in August. Throughout the month, visitors voted for their favorite collaborative artwork.
The winners are:
• “Pueo’s Flight Made Bright by the Moon, Pa ka lele a ka pueo I ke konane a ka mahina,” a basalt, aluminum repoussé, koa sculpture by Volcano-area artists Elizabeth Miller and Jonathan Sudler.
• “Go With the Flow,” a collage of canvases incorporating acrylic, encaustic, watercolor and oil painting by Linda Peterson, Sarah Taylor Ko, Bea Israel, Bonnie Sol and Carol Noel, all artists living in East Hawaii.
Wailoa Center staff congratulates all the artists who participated in this year’s exhibit.
